Hello! My name is Crystal Moon. I am an artist based in the United States. I grew up in a small town in Texas and have lived most of my adult life in South Florida. I split my time now between Texas and Florida and love the diverse environments.
I love creating art – it is my meditation, my zen space, my happy place. All the troubles in the world float away when I am working on bringing a piece of art to life.
My artistic style is diverse but intentional. I don’t like to be tied down to one particular style. I create based on the mood and emotions I am feeling. Sometimes my work is very detailed, almost hyperrealistic, and at other times I prefer to delve in to abstract works experimenting with colors and movement. I enjoy exploring the human form and am particularly fond of creating quirky portraits.
At the beginning of 2022, I discovered the world of digital art in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and it has been life changing. Rather than being limited to pulling out a canvas and paints for my physical artwork, I can take out my iPad and create art wherever I am and can share that art with a much broader audience. Digital art also provides the freedom to be able to add elements like automation to my artwork.
I will never stop creating real, physical artwork, but I also believe in the future of digital artwork/NFTs. I enjoy collecting digital artwork from other artists and believe this will become more mainstream in the years to come.
